I'm totally disappointed with the cabinet ministers who did not even pledge a bounty of this magnitude to entice information to re-capture a terrorist. The ministers are quite laid-back aen't they?
Listen to what they were saying about offering rewards for re-capture of a extra-ordinary criminal.
It has to take 2 citizens to offer a sizeable bounty to rekindle the kind of interest in Singapore and elsewhere. These 2 guys were showing to our well-paid first-world ministers on what must be done to in this matter.

That's a nice pat in the back for Singaporeans from Lim Swee Say. You better save it for Wong Kan Seng. It's pathetic how our leaders - highest paid in the world - are not admitting responsibility for mistakes. I've lost all respect for them. See you at the elections.

Does it really matter how he escaped or where he is now; if at the end of the day, he martyrs himself and take some notable political scoundrels with him? I remember an old joke about a father & son taking a helicopter ride around the island. Sonny drops 2 ten-dollar notes and says he will make 2 SGeans happy. Father then shows him the politics of maths and drops 10 two-dollar notes, making 10 SGeans happy. Helicopter pilot mutters to himself that if he drops these 2 idiots, he would make 2 million SGeans happy. I was kinda thinking MSK could be that helicopter pilot, and do the honourable thing, hence endearing himself to friends and foes alike. A bit like the end justifies the means? That's consequentialism for you. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.....

This is great, just GREAT. They have an inquiry and two out of three are current or ex-MOHA staff. So objective inquiry !

While this is going on. Our govt tells us that they can't divulge details of the 'great" escape, because of security issues. Sure, keep everything secret so everything will be fine.

My, my, hope Mas Selamat has not "limped out of Singapore yet. At least our government can learn from this terrible mis-step.

cheers

A friend of mine once told me a joke. Perhaps Mas didn't escape after all. He might just be hiding somewhere above the ceiling board.

Some even guessed that he might already be dead. And this is just to cover up the truth.

Only time will tell... and whether or not the media is reporting the 100% truth, no ones know.

Swee Say is wrong. Finger-pointing will start when people realise that Mas really cannot be captured and that he is out there somewhere hatching a plot.
