		<description>Concise explanation of ECO101. Love it! :) I was out on Saturday, and I still see people shopping like crazy. I don&#039;t think Singaporeans felt the tremors of a recession yet. 

But that&#039;s a good thing. If people keep spending, more people will be able to keep their jobs. If more people can keep their jobs, they will continue to spend. Also, such shitty economic times means that it&#039;s a good time for investment. Consumption can then go up. Investment go up. And hopefully that offset the export problems. And then we would would be insulated from a recession.

Yeah, I&#039;m dreaming. :D</description>
