Meeting Yinghan of Hitchoo to discuss a possible project/job. He’s actually looking for a full time staff, renumerating with above market rates salary and at least 4 months bonus! Quite attractive, if you ask me.

Meeting a student, who happened to be a lecturer in a Malaysian University, who is seeking co-PI-ship with my supervisor. Supposed to meet up to determine if there’s any vested interest between his project and mine.

Venue: Tentatively Boat Quay TCC

A Ping.sg gathering (TCSS) event. Will be meeting everyone that I met at Ping.sg anniversary, but hopefully on a more familiar tone.

The lab supervisor is treating the entire group to dinner @ Sakura @ Clementiwood, in celebration for people’s coming graduation as well as post-mortem celebrations. wherever that is. Yum yum…

Venue: Canteen 13 (because there is Korean food there! Haha)

Will be meeting with the outgoing and incoming Presidents of the KCS. It’d be an interesting meetup because we have quite a fair bit installed for AY 07/08. This is a 1-year-long plan to get about 30 students to prepare for their trip to Korea in June/July 08, and this includes finding them jobs during winter term. I’m not sure how easy it’d be because winter term is rather short.

There’s apparently an ad that the VP is looking into. He seems to be having problems with accessing the account. Hmm… maybe we can all clear this up next week. And oh, did I mention that I am the new webmaster for AY 07/08. Sigh… next academic year seems to be piling up.

Sigh. My doctor is away and I’d have to come back again 2 weeks later. Think a lot of people didn’t turn up for their appointments today. Oh well… I should have asked and postponed it… at least it won’t have been a wasted trip.

Okay… appointment has been postponed from 26 July 2007 10:30am till 16 August 2007 09:10am. I thought it’d be quite pointless to see him on 26th since I’d be keeping my wound compressed this week.

There will be special performances, a lucky draw, door gifts and finger food. I think it’s better to go with a 1/2-filled stomach.
