An early season’s greetings to all my readers! It’s time for a quiz again, and this time, we have attractive prizes waiting for you! What better way to enjoy a nice cosy gathering with your friends for Christmas than to have nuts and wine (and cheese*) to go along with?

For this Christmas, we would be giving away a wonderful mix of cherry tomatoes, Iranian figs, pistachios, cashews and assorted nuts-in-shell with a classic bottle of wine hamper! In fact, we have up to 7 different set of prizes^ to give away for this round of quiz, with the best answer given the full set of yummy hamper!

This quiz is very simply. You can enter either of the following quiz with the same prize:

• Describe in detail what’s wrong with this video - there’s something that we are looking out for this most people didn’t describe (hint: look beyond); OR
• Send in a photo of anything (yourself, yourself and family/friends/SO, some Christmas decorations, outdoor shoots, objects, etc.) and say in a sentence or two about the picture and why you’d want the prize

It’s that simple! So hurry now and send in your answers to the email address at the about page. This quiz closes on 15th December 2007 and prizes will be delivered by 16th December 2007. All entries will be acknowledged but only winners will be notified by email.

I’m really didn’t expect that I have to write this post, or rather, I didn’t expect that I’d have the courage to write this post basically because I am afraid of one thing. Fear. The fear of being rejected outright. I thought it’s going to be easy, but it really turned out to be really difficult.

Isn’t it that it’d be easier for me to find a girl then to find a guy? However, I think I am totally wrong now. I’d thought that amongst all of my friends, at least one would be the one whom I’d be looking; the one whom I’d want; the one whom…

Sigh.

I feel really helpless now. I don’t know why I’m in this hopeless situation. It seems like my mind is completely blank now - in a state where I am almost totally lost for words. I have always dreamt of being able to find a girl, someone whom I can make her smile, someone whom I can make her eyes dazzle in front of the camera… someone who would be able to come down for the filming at library@orchard.

Yes, I am short of a girl to complete the music video for the closing of the library@orchard. If you are a girl (doesn’t matter how old or whether you are working or studying or bumming like me), and don’t mind lending me 1 hour or so of your time, do drop me an email in the contact page here with your number so that I can get back to you? The filming will probably be on Sunday, 25th November 2007.

Hello… ok, the cat’s out of the bag because I can’t get anybody at all and there was a miscommunication with the only 1 person that could come down on a weekday shoot.

Yup yup, the “community music video” was meant to be for the closing of the library@orchard and I just wanted to capture short snippets of how people can use the library. I was thinking of approaching the actual users, but I think it’s too disruptive.

So, I would like to give a final call for people to help out in the music video - leads, production and post-production are welcome. =)

I’m making a call for people who would like to be part of a community music video (MV) project. There is no budget for this project so I can’t really pay anyone. However, you will be part of a community MV that will probably be seen by the public, so there will be some minutes of fame =)

Timings for shooting are as below:

• Monday (19th November) to Friday (23rd November): Evenings from 7pm to 9pm
• Saturday (24th November): Morning from 11am to 2pm or afternoon from 2pm to 4pm or 4pm to 6pm or 7pm to 9pm
• Sunday (25th November): Afternoon from 2pm to 4pm or 4pm to 6pm or 7pm to 9pm (if needed)

If you would like to be part of this low-cost, low-tech MV, kindly drop me a message here and let me know what are your free time slots and if you would like to bring your friends along. I’d let you know what the project is for and more details about it. Do leave a contact number so that you can be notified of any changes.
